I write for a range of ensembles, drawing inspiration both from contemporary, often minimalistic composers such as Reich, Einaudi, Tiersen, Nyman, and Glass, and composers from the Romantic, in particular impressionist, movement. Within my pieces I often attempt to convey a picture or mood, and they often contain prominent themes inspired by the nature of my home county of Devon.
